Buyer: What actions can I take from the compile page?



Many helpful functions exist on the compile page. Check out this article for an explanation of each and instructions on how to utilize them.







Lock/Unlock

Viewing the padlock icon is an easy way to tell if you have edit privileges.  If the padlock appears unlocked, then you can make changes in the compile grid.  If the padlock appears locked, then the seller currently has the ability to add and edit data in the compile grid.



Full Screen

This button expands the compile grid to be a full-screen size.



Expand Columns

This button auto-expands all columns. You can also set up maximum character limits, click here to learn more.











Create Contracts

Clicking this will pull up the Create New Contract page with the current RFP information populated. See more on creating contracts here.



Send To Production Review (if applicable at your agency)

This button will send an email to your production team alerting them that the RFP is ready for review.



Download

Download vendor proposals into Excel or PowerPoint along with downloading attachments and production spec files. Learn more on how to download PowerPoints here.



Standardize Data

This feature allows you to clean up data to eliminate validation errors. Learn more about this feature here.



Fill From Spreadsheet

Buyers can import proposal data from a spreadsheet into the compile grid or an individual vendor's compile grid. For more information on the 'Fill From Spreadsheet' option, click here.







The search box allows you to search for a keyword within the compile grid.











Field Definitions

This brings up a window displaying a description and example for each of the standard fields included in the compile grid.



Map

Clicking this will map any inventory marked 'In' as well as map any location lists associated with the RFP. Learn more about mapping with RFPs here.



Message All

Jump into the messaging thread with vendors. To learn more about the different ways to message, check out this support article here.



View Images

View the images uploaded by vendors for the proposed inventory.

View Campaign 

View the associated Campaign for the RFP.



Remove Strict Validation (if applicable at your agency)

This option will allow you to turn off Strict Compliance for specific vendors included in the RFP. If you'd like to learn more on how to enforce overall data compliance, check out our Strict Validation process HERE.



Remove Prod Spec Requirement (if applicable at your agency)

This option will allow you to turn off Strict Compliance for production specifications.

Remove Image Requirement (if applicable at your agency)

This option will allow you to turn off Strict Compliance for Image specifications.

Hide Column

Right-click the column(s) you would like to hide. Select the columns around hidden columns to show them. You can hide/show multiple columns at a time by using your mouse to select multiple. Data within hidden columns will still be saved normally and all hidden columns are automatically unhidden on page refresh as well.

 









Fixed Columns

Set this to lock a certain number of starting columns when scrolling through the grid.

Add 10 more rows

This button adds 10 additional rows to the compile grid when clicked and is only displayed when the current status is buyer-editable.





Update Geopath-v2 Data 

If you are a Geopath member and have selected the desired demographics in Step 1 and Grid Columns in Step 2, clicking this button will make a real-time call to Geopath to pull back the requested impressions data. Learn more about Geopath Planning here.



Save

Clicking this button will save your progress. It is only displayed when the current status is buyer-editable.

Save and Submit Plan

When you click this button, the proposals are saved, and an email notification is sent to the buyer designated as the supervisor for the related client. For more information on the 'Save and Submit Plan' option, click here!

 









RFP History 

This section allows you to view the history of an RFP, such as the date and time each vendor initially made a proposal, the RFP was submitted for approval, and the RFP was sent to contract.
