How do I manage my maps (Map Management)?

How do I create a new map?

From DOmedia's homepage, click on 'Map' in the navigation bar at the top of the screen, and then click 'Maps' from the drop-down menu.

To create a new map, click 'Create New Map' in the toolbar located above the table.







On the Create New Map page, you will walk through a series of steps:

Map Name - Give your map a unique name.

Client - Select which client this map is related to from the drop-down menu.  If you do not select a client, the map will be available to all users in their 'Shared Enabled Maps' view. For more information on managing clients, click here .





Create Map Options:

  • Target Location List  - Choose from available Target Location Lists, which are created through Target Location Management, to display client locations on the map.  Create a new Target Location List on the fly by clicking on the blue plus sign.
  • Vendor Location List - (Buyer Only) Choose from available vendor location lists, which are created through Vendor Location Management, to display all inventory locations contained in the selected lists.  Create a new Vendor Location List on the fly by clicking on the blue plus sign.

Map Type:

  • Inventory Folder - (Seller Only) When selected, a drop-down menu will appear with a list of all of your Inventory Folders.  The assets contained within the selected Inventory Folder will be displayed on the map.
  • RFP - (Buyer Only) When selected, a drop-down menu will appear with a list of al of your RFPs in which a vendor has submitted a response in the compile grid. The user will be able to select the desired RFP from the drop-down and the specific vendors in the 'RFP Sell Company' box so the appropriate inventory will appear on the map.
  • Idea Folder - (Buyer Only) When selected, a drop-down menu will appear with a list of all of your Idea Folders.  The assets contained within the selected Idea Folder will be displayed on the map.
  • Campaign - RFPs - (Buyer Only) When selected, a drop-down menu will appear with a list of all of your campaigns. When a campaign is selected, all inventory proposed to you across all RFPs in the campaign will appear on your map.
  • Campaign - Contracts - (Buyer Only) When selected, a drop-down menu will appear with a list of all of your campaigns. Select the campaign, then choose the desired contracts within the campaign from the 'Contracts' box. All inventory from the selected contracts will appear on your map.

Custom KML Layers - Select from a list of Custom KML Layers, which are created through Custom KML Layers Management. Click here for more information.

Note: Only 5 KML layers may be displayed on a map at one time, but more that 5 KML layers can be selected and added to the map. KML layers can be toggled on and off to show the appropriate 5 layers from the selected list of KML layers.





Once you have made your desired selections, click 'Create Map' in the lower right corner of the page.

How do I view, edit, or disable a map? From the Map Management dashboard, locate the desired map and click 'Map', 'Edit', or 'Disable'.
