Why aren't columns from my spreadsheet uploading into the grid?

The most common reason why columns from a spreadsheet are not uploading into the grid properly when using 'Fill From Spreadsheet' is that the column headers in the spreadsheet do not match the column headers in the RFP grid. If the headers match exactly, this will ensure that the data from your spreadsheet is uploaded without any issues.





DOmedia Recommendations:

1. Download the RFP grid from the RFP dashboard or Step 2 of your RFP. Fill out the sheet and re-upload to DOmedia.

2. Update the headers of your own sheet to match the headers provided in DOmedia prior to uploading your spreadsheet.

Note: The order of the columns does not matter.

Additional steps can be taken to ensure that the data in your spreadsheet gets uploaded with ease.



  • When possible, copy everything and paste as a value.
  • Select everything and choose the General format.
  • ​Lastly, save as a .XLS file.
