Why would I use Search?
DOmedia's Search tool houses a large database of alternative, traditional, and digital Out-Of-Home vendor media products. You would use Search when you'd like to view those media product offerings based on specific geographic parameters, Out-Of-Home categories, venue types, and/or audience demographic filters. You can use Search to familiarize yourself with the vendors who own inventory in each market and view asset level details.

How do I create a new search?
After logging in to DOmedia, hover your mouse over 'Search' in the white navigation bar across the top of any DOmedia page. That will generate a drop-down menu where you can select 'Search Assets.'



From the search page, select your search parameters to narrow down your resulting media.
 
Geographic Search filter - Use the drop-down menu selector to choose which geographic parameter you'd like to search by. You can choose to search by Entire United States, U.S. State(s), single market, sets of markets, MSAs, CBSAs
, Counties, ZIP Code(s), Proximity to specific Latitude(s)/Longitude(s) combinations, or Proximity to Specific Street Addresses.

Advertising Category filter - Choose which Out-Of-Home advertising category you'd like the resulting media to be associated with by clicking the check box to the left of each category.  Advertising category options include billboards, transit, street furniture, alternative OOH, Digital OOH (place-based), cinema, social, and mobile.




Managed Media & Technology Services filter - Choose from a list of services such as ad: tech products/services, promotional item services, audit/compliance/pre-rides, OOH media buying services, production/printing services, newspaper/magazine media buying services, and research services, to narrow your results.



Venue Type filter - Choose which venue type you'd like to see in your results including education, recreation/health/beauty, workplace/residential, entertainment, retail, hospitality, roadside, medical/dental, and transit.



Sort Order filter - Use the drop-down menu selector to choose how you would like to organize and view your search results by selecting to view the Most Complete Results first, Company Name (alphabetical), or Market (alphabetical).



Target Audience filter - Choose to filter your results by target audience by selecting gender, age group, ethnicity, and household income (based on U.S. Census Bureau data).



Industry Affiliation filter - Choose to view specific Industry Affiliation data in your search results.  Industry Affiliation options include Indoor Billboard Advertising Association Member, Outdoor Advertising Association of America Member, Digital Place-based Advertising Association, Geopath for Media Measurement Member, etc.



Once you've selected your search filters, click 'Search'.
Note: Depending on the parameters of your search, results may take longer to return. 

  
Navigating Search Results 
Keyword search - Enter a keyword as an additional filter within your search results (ex. digital).

Modify filters - Adjust your search parameters on the Search Results page by unchecking filters on the left side.



Premium Profile icon - The gold Premium Profile icon indicates that the vendor works with DOmedia to maintain a robust and accurate inventory.



Geopath icon - The Geopath icon, formerly known as the Traffic Audit Bureau (TAB),  indicates that the vendor has been audited by Geopath, the industry leader in Out-Of-Home advertising audit data.



Utilizing Search Results
Map - View media assets from your search results on a map by checking the boxes to the left of each product profile and clicking 'Map'.

Save - Save media assets from your search results into an Idea or Inventory Folder by checking the boxes to the left of each product profile and clicking 'Save'.

RFP - Buyer only - Begin an RFP (Request for Proposal) for certain media assets from your search results by checking the boxes to the left of each product profile and clicking 'RFP'.

Calculate TRP - Calculate Target Rating Points (TRPs), a measurement of the percentage of a target audience receiving an advertisement, by checking the boxes to the left of each product profile and clicking 'Calculate TRP'.
Note: This button will only be available if you are a Geopath member. In order to generate calculations, you must select at least one Geopath audited asset (designated by the Geopath icon).

Calculate GRP - Calculate Gross Rating Points (GRPs), a measurement of an advertisement's impact, by checking the boxes to the left of each product profile and clicking 'Calculate GRP'.
Note: This button will only be available if you are a Geopath member. In order to generate calculations, you must select at least one Geopath audited asset (designated by the Geopath icon).
