Buyer: What do I do if I don't have a product code but need to send a contract?

If you find yourself needing to send a contract, but you do not yet know the product code, you can just type "TBD" in the Product column of the Inventory Information section of the contract when you're setting the contract up.  Then, just simply drag & drop or copy/paste "TBD" down for as many insertion line items as you have on the contract.

This method works since you will need to go back and revise this section of the contract anyway, once you have the product code.

Once there is a real product name and product code, you can add it in Client Management, and then revise the appropriate contracts to update the Product from TBD to the real product code.
