Seller: Lease Management

The Lease tab located on DOmedia's homepage is a feature that allows users to create and track leases. These leases are between sellers and a person or company that owns the land on which an asset is located. Go to DOmedia's homepage and scroll over to the 'Lease' tab and click on 'Leases' located in the drop-down.

From there you will be taken to the Lease Dashboard. This is where all of the leases that were created within DOmedia are located. To create a new lease, select the 'Create' button in the left-hand corner of the dashboard.

This is where you can create a new lease. On this page users have the ability to signify who the lease will be with, the start and end dates of the lease, who at the company that you are working with should be notified when the lease is set to expire, and which assets are associated with the lease.

Users have the ability to determine different specifications within the Payment Terms section of the lease.

Payment Type is the form in which the lease will be payed. A Fixed Payment is a set amount that does not change during the run of the lease.

Percentage of Revenue is a payment that is a set percentage of revenue that is earned through the unit that is being used.

The Minimum - Maximum payment is another Percentage of Revenue payment but it will be a percent taken from a set minimum amount of revenue earned and a percent taken from a set maximum amount of revenue that is earned through the unit.

Period Type is how frequently a seller would be paying on the lease. Monthly is an option users can choose to pay on the lease. This means that the seller is paying a fixed amount, percentage of revenue, or minimum - maximum on a set day every month.

Users also have the ability to pay quarterly. Choosing quarterly means that sellers will be paying a fixed amount, percentage of revenue, or minimum - maximum for a set date every quarter.

Finally there is the option to pay on a yearly basis. This means that sellers will be paying a fixed amount, percentage of revenue, or minimum - maximum on a set date every year.

There is a text box available for a user to enter a valid Billing Address.

As a last step, users can add inventory to the lease. These are the units that are located on the land that a person or company owns hence the need for a lease.

Do not forget to save your work before leaving the page. Another feature that is located within the Lease drop-down is the 'Payments' tab.

Clicking on the 'Payments' tab will take you to a new page. This is where you can visually track the payments associated with a lease.

The last tab under the Lease drop-down is called 'Create Lease'.

This tab will take you straight to the 'Create Lease' page which is an easy way to create a lease without visiting the Lease Dashboard.
